Taiwan’s NCSIST and US firm Kratos have successfully completed integration testing of the Mighty Hornet IV attack UAV, validating the payload and mission systems without requiring redesign. The milestone clears the path for a full flight test later this year and supports plans for local mass production in Taiwan. Derived from the MQM-178 Firejet, the drone can perform reconnaissance, decoy, attack, and target missions at speeds up to Mach 0.8.
