Under the AUKUS framework, the US Navy has acquired Textron’s Tsunami USV to assess autonomous surface vessel capabilities for Indo-Pacific operations. Designed as a rapidly deployable platform, the drone boat will support research into extended-range maritime autonomy and future fleet integration.
