As part of a contract that was reportedly signed in 2023, Turkey has provided Morocco with its first shipment of Bayraktar Akinci drones. According to Forum FAR Maroc, a semi-official military publication in Rabat, the delivery marks a significant advancement in the relationship between the Royal Moroccan Air Force and Turkey’s defense sector. The milestone represents the beginning of initiatives to get the sophisticated systems up and running, even though the precise amount of drones that have been delivered has not been made public.
