Baykar, a Turkish defense company, has flight-tested the Murad 100-A active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar on its Akinci long-range combat drone. The Aselsan radar, which is made for fire control as well as surveillance, will be installed on the Turkish military’s F-16s and Akinci planes. The radar, a crucial element of the F-16 Block 30’s Ozgur upgrade, underwent testing on the plane in 2024.
