The UK’s Dstl has introduced a new remotely operated underwater vehicle designed to protect the nation’s submerged infrastructure from sabotage.

This rugged ROV is engineered to locate, neutralize, and retrieve dangerous items near subsea cables and other marine structures.

It also assists in clearing aged underwater munitions that present risks during emergency responses.

With integrated threat recognition systems, the robot can place charges remotely to safely destroy identified hazards.
