British drone manufacturer Windracers is preparing to significantly enhance the payload and range of its ULTRA unmanned aircraft, increasing lift capacity to 200 kilograms while maintaining a range of more than 2,000 kilometers. Unveiled at the company’s LAUNCH 2026 event, the upgrade builds on an existing platform already in service across defense and civilian missions. The rugged, fuel-powered fixed-wing drone has been used in Ukraine since 2023 for ISR and resupply tasks and is designed to operate reliably in harsh weather. With endurance of up to 10 hours, the ULTRA is positioned to support long-range logistics missions, including deliveries to remote communities, as Windracers expands operations into new regions such as Africa.
