GE Aerospace received a $5 billion deal from the US Air Force to produce F110-GE-129 engines for sale to other countries. The F110-GE-129 engine, which was first introduced in 1992, has been used to power combat aircraft like the F-15 Eagle and F-16 Fighting Falcon, which are flown by international allies. As part of the agreement, the business will collaborate with the military to provide the solution, parts, and related services in order to “meet the evolving needs of allied operators.”
