Ireland has committed to purchasing four Airbus H145 helicopters for 91.7 million euros ($95.8 million) to replace the Irish Air Corps’ EC135 fleet. These new platforms are expected to be delivered by 2027, at which point the two remaining EC135s will be retired. The H145 fleet will be utilized by the Irish national police and security air support agency for training new pilots before they transition to larger tactical systems or aircraft.
