Singapore’s Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) has entered into an agreement with Airbus Helicopters to develop crewed-uncrewed teaming capabilities involving the RSAF’s H225M Medium Lift helicopter and Airbus Helicopters’ Flexrotor uncrewed aerial system (UAS). The collaboration seeks to demonstrate how integrating crewed and uncrewed platforms can boost situational awareness and enhance mission effectiveness through a flight demonstration.
Airbus’ new crewed-uncrewed teaming solution, HTeaming, will be installed on the RSAF’s H225M, enabling its crew to fully control the Flexrotor. This operational demonstration aims to showcase the benefits and efficiency of Airbus’ teaming technology and the synergy between manned helicopters and unmanned systems.
Recently introduced, HTeaming is a modular system that includes a modem, four antennas, a tablet, and software components.
