The US Air National Guard is evaluating an advanced virtual reality training solution designed to improve military readiness through immersive simulation. Developed by Virtuix, the Omni One platform combines artificial intelligence, motion tracking, and full-body movement within realistic virtual operational environments. Unlike traditional VR systems that rely primarily on handheld controllers, the platform enables users to physically walk, sprint, crouch, kneel, and maneuver naturally while interacting with AI-generated combat scenarios. The technology supports tactical rehearsals, mission planning, infantry movement, and decision-making exercises before live field operations. As military organizations increasingly adopt digital training environments, the evaluation represents another step toward integrating immersive technologies into modern defense education and operational preparation.
