The US Army has awarded a $99.6-million contract to Anduril Industries to spearhead a consortium of technology firms in developing a next-generation command and control (NGC2) system. “Team Anduril,” which includes Palantir, Microsoft, Govini, and others, will deliver an integrated C2 prototype under an 11-month OTA agreement. The prototype will be fielded by the 4th Infantry Division for experimental use, with multiple soldier exercises planned to assess its performance and guide future enhancements. The project emphasizes scalability, interoperability, and the potential inclusion of additional vendors in subsequent development phases.
