An Australian developer of digital and extended reality technologies has secured its largest defense contract to date with a NATO-certified European partner. The multi-year agreement focuses on providing secure computing and communications systems based on the INTEGRATEDXR platform, which integrates artificial intelligence with immersive visualization tools. Piloted successfully last year, the system enables operators to interact with data in real time through simulations and advanced displays. The deal, valued at AUD 22.3 million (USD 14.7 million), could rise to AUD 29.5 million (USD 19.4 million) by decade’s end. Together with AUD 17.7 million (USD 11.6 million) in earlier contracts and AUD 10.3 million (USD 6.8 million) already delivered, the initiative now totals AUD 40 million (USD 26.4 million) and may reach AUD 47.2 million (USD 31.1 million). The company noted no new investments are required, as existing resources are sufficient for execution. The unnamed European partner already collaborates with major defense contractors across the continent and is certified to support NATO and Council of Europe programs. This arrangement underscores the strategic push within Europe to integrate advanced AI and visualization solutions into defense operations, strengthening resilience against evolving threats. The scale of the agreement highlights growing reliance on digital technologies for situational awareness, planning, and secure communication in critical defense environments.
