The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is set to commence production of new variants of the Pinaka rocket system, featuring extended ranges of 120 km and 300 km. According to DRDO Chairman Dr. Samir V. Kamat, these advanced systems are expected to be inducted into the Indian Army within the next three to five years.
