Ukraine and Germany have agreed to jointly produce Bohdana self-propelled howitzers mounted on Mercedes-Benz Zetros trucks in a deal valued at €750 million. The initiative aims to manufacture up to 200 NATO-standard 155mm artillery systems, with assembly taking place in Ukraine using German-supplied vehicles. The agreement forms part of wider defense cooperation exceeding €1.2 billion, covering drones, electronic warfare, and Patriot support.
