Virginia-based Domo Tactical Communications has released the Sentry 6161, a next-generation tactical radio for military and civilian users. Featuring software-defined flexibility, it can switch across multiple bands and networks, while operating on both legacy clip-on batteries and modern centralized packs. The system supports resilient C2 even in GPS-denied or damaged environments. Trials showed interoperability with allied networks, multi-waveform hosting, and seamless power switching. Its modular architecture allows easy repairs and upgrades, lowering lifecycle costs.
