Estonia has signed a contract with France and KNDS for 12 additional Caesar 155mm self-propelled howitzers. The new systems will equip the 3rd self-propelled artillery battalion under the Estonian Division. The Caesar MK1 wheeled artillery platform offers high mobility and rapid deployment, capable of firing six rounds per minute at ranges exceeding 40 kilometers. The order follows a previous 2024 agreement and reinforces Estonia’s artillery modernization alongside its K9 fleet.
