The Precision Guidance Kit M1156A1 for its 155 mm self-propelled artillery systems will be purchased by Norway under an agreement made with the United States. The specifics were not made public. But in December, the US State Department gave Oslo permission to spend about $130 million to acquire 8,001 M1156A1s. This is one of the investments Norway is making in artillery ammunition to improve the efficiency of the Army’s artillery system.
