MBDA and Delair have introduced MUTANT XL, a precision loitering-strike system combining missile technology with UAV maneuverability. Built on a man-in-the-loop design, MUTANT XL offers remote control throughout flight, adaptability to diverse missions, and anti-armor capability derived from MBDA’s AKERON line. The system is part of France’s Larinae program, which aims to expand long-range unmanned strike options, drone swarms, and modern ground-combat technologies.
