German defense companies HENSOLDT and TYTAN Technologies have agreed to cooperate on counter-UAS solutions that integrate advanced sensors, command-and-control software, and kinetic interceptor drones. The partnership combines TYTAN’s high-speed interceptor UAVs with HENSOLDT’s sensor portfolio and Elysion Mission Core C2 software to create a complete detect-to-defeat capability. Production and system integration will take place in Bavaria, with applications covering protection of military bases, civilian infrastructure, and critical facilities. The collaboration also supports NATO requirements and European efforts to assist Ukraine. TYTAN’s interceptor uses computer vision to identify and collide with hostile drones, while HENSOLDT’s software fuses radar, EO/IR, RF, and acoustic data into a single operational picture.
