India’s Zen Technologies has announced a major upgrade to its counter-drone and defense training solutions portfolio, aligning with the country’s push for indigenous, AI-driven security technologies. The Hyderabad-based company unveiled new detection and neutralization systems that integrate radar, electro-optical sensors, and electronic jamming for layered protection against unmanned threats. These systems are designed for border, base, and convoy defense, providing a scalable architecture suited to both military and homeland-security users. Zen’s latest anti-drone suite offers automated threat classification powered by machine learning, allowing real-time tracking and targeted disruption of hostile UAVs. The firm has also upgraded its tactical simulation and live-fire training environments with VR and AR components, enabling realistic mission rehearsal for the Indian Armed Forces. Chairman Ashok Atluri highlighted that the developments underscore India’s “Atmanirbhar Bharat” (self-reliant defense) vision. Zen’s portfolio expansion arrives as drone incursions along sensitive borders rise sharply, prompting the Ministry of Defence to prioritize rapid acquisition of C-UAS technologies. The firm’s systems are modular, field-tested, and integrated with existing command networks. Its export-ready configurations aim to capture growing global demand for multi-domain anti-drone defenses. Collectively, these initiatives strengthen India’s domestic defense ecosystem and position Zen Technologies as a vital contributor to both national security and the international C-UAS market.
