L3Harris Technologies has initiated high-volume production of its VAMPIRE counter-drone system at its Huntsville facility, responding to growing global demand for flexible air defense solutions. The system’s modular, vehicle-agnostic design allows rapid deployment across multiple platforms, including ground vehicles and containerized systems. Initially supplied to Ukraine, VAMPIRE has since evolved into multiple variants supporting land, naval, and electronic warfare operations. Equipped with AI-driven sensors and capable of integrating various weapons such as laser-guided rockets, the system offers scalable and cost-effective counter-UAS capabilities. Its adaptability and rapid integration features make it suitable for modern battlefields where drone threats are increasingly prevalent.
