Lithuania has placed a third order for Saab’s MSHORAD mobile air-defense system, worth roughly $148 million, extending deliveries through 2030. Integrated onto JLTV 4×4 vehicles, the system combines the RBS 70 NG missile, Giraffe 1X radar, C2 solutions, and secure datalinks. The procurement strengthens Lithuania’s layered air-defense posture amid heightened regional tensions. The move follows previous Saab contracts covering Carl-Gustaf ammunition, additional rifles, and two earlier MSHORAD batteries procured in 2024.
