The Netherlands is set to purchase 500 million euros ($577 million) worth of US weaponry to support Ukraine, marking the first NATO country to do so under the Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List (PURL) initiative. This new program, started by the US and NATO, enables rapid delivery of arms to Ukraine by allowing allies to fund immediate shipments from American military stockpiles amid the ongoing conflict with Russia.
