Under an expanded framework agreement, Germany is procuring 30mm Puma IFV ammunition from Rheinmetall, totaling several hundred thousand rounds worth approximately 1 billion euros. The KE-TF rounds are optimized for engaging soft, semi-hardened, and aerial targets. The Puma IFV fleet is being reinforced with additional vehicles, anti-tank missile integration, and a modular live-fire simulator for crew training. Deliveries are scheduled to start in mid-2028.
