The 450-mm aperture system provides longer range, faster response, and lower operational costs compared to earlier variants. Displayed with the Iron Beam-M and Lite Beam, it introduces a new gimbal mount for enhanced targeting. The directed-energy weapon is designed to intercept rockets, drones, and mortars at high efficiency, offering militaries an economical complement to kinetic interceptors. Rafael positions the Iron Beam 450 as a cornerstone for future layered air defense architectures.
