A possible $91.2 million sale of precision-guided weapons to Australia has been approved by the US State Department. Canberra will get 54 Guided Multiple Launch Rocket Systems-Alternate Warhead (GMLRS-AW) rounds, as well as telemetry kits, engineering services, and other associated assistance. Its stated objectives of enhancing national and territorial defense, interoperability with American forces, and striving to elevate industry as a novel supply source would all be furthered by the planned sale.
