Under a $78.5 million agreement, the US government has given Saudi Arabia the option to purchase MK 54 MOD 0 lightweight torpedoes. The Saudi Arabian government has requested 20 ready-to-fire lightweight torpedoes, complete with spare parts, MK 54 recoverable exercise torpedoes, handling shapes, and containers. Logistics and program assistance are also included in the agreement, with up to two representatives from the US government or RTX contractor visiting the Gulf country.
