Sweden is set to acquire 20 M142 HIMARS launchers under a $930-million foreign military sales agreement approved by the United States. The deal includes multiple types of guided rocket munitions, extended-range artillery rockets, communication systems, and support equipment. Developed by Lockheed Martin, HIMARS can be transported by aircraft such as the C‑130 Hercules and quickly deployed to operational areas.
