Sweden has signed a deal with Nammo worth 1.8 billion Swedish krona ($186 million) for the supply of small-caliber ammunition. The order is the biggest deal Stockholm has ever given the firm for the cartridges and is part of a fresh 10-year framework arrangement. The ammunition will be delivered between 2026 and 2028, ensuring that Sweden receives it safely “at a time when global capacity is scarce.” Ulf Kristersson, the prime minister of Sweden, went to the company’s Karlsborg facility in the south of the country to talk about the site’s production ramp-up.
