The British Army has awarded Babcock International a long-term contract to support portable field power generators used in deployed environments. The deal, worth up to £36 million, covers maintenance and lifecycle management of the Field Electrical Power Supplies equipment for up to eight years. These generators provide electricity for command systems, communication networks, and operational infrastructure when fixed power sources are unavailable. Babcock’s engineering teams across the United Kingdom will ensure the equipment remains reliable during exercises and military operations in remote or austere locations.
