Ukraine has field-tested a low-cost laser weapon called Sunray to counter aerial drones. The silent system, which emits no visible beam, reportedly ignited a target drone within seconds during a recent demonstration at a distance of several hundred yards. Its compact design resembles a telescope with side-mounted cameras.
