At its Rosyth shipyard, Babcock International marked key milestones in the Royal Navy’s Type 31 Inspiration-class program, beginning construction of HMS Bulldog and completing assembly of HMS Active. The modular construction strategy enables concurrent outfitting within assembly bays, improving efficiency. The five-ship program supports varied missions and includes industrial cooperation with suppliers such as BAE Systems Bofors for naval gun support.
