India’s Belrise Industries has entered a strategic partnership with Israel’s Plasan Sasa to jointly manufacture autonomous electric ground vehicle components tailored for Indian military requirements. Central to the agreement is the adaptation of Plasan’s All-Terrain Electric Mission Module (ATEMM), a 2×2 unmanned electric platform designed to improve payload capacity, mobility, survivability, and onboard power availability. The modular system can operate independently or as a trailer, delivering up to 50 kWh of power to support vehicles or deployed equipment. When combined into multi-module configurations, ATEMM can form 4×4 or 8×8 platforms offering electric propulsion equivalent to 800 horsepower and payloads exceeding two tons. Plasan will contribute expertise in armor and survivability, while Belrise focuses on localized manufacturing, supporting India’s defense industrialization and technology-transfer objectives.
