Poland has signed a contract to supply mobile communication nodes as part of the ongoing expansion of its multi-layer air and missile defense system. The nodes are designed to ensure secure, encrypted communication across tactical and operational networks, enhancing coordination and response capabilities. The acquisition includes delivery, support, and operator training over the next several years. Building on the initial phase, which deployed long-range interceptor batteries and integrated command systems, this phase incorporates new sensors powered by cutting-edge radar technology capable of 360-degree coverage and countering advanced aerial threats. The initiative reinforces Poland’s strategic aim of strengthening national defense while maintaining full interoperability with allied systems, ensuring readiness against a wide spectrum of airborne threats.
