BAE Systems has signed an agreement with startup Frankenburg Technologies to explore scalable, low-cost counter-drone interceptors. Rather than relying solely on bespoke air defense systems, the partnership aims to accelerate development of affordable warheads for mass production. The collaboration reflects a broader international push toward layered, sensor-driven counter-UAS architectures as governments respond to the rapid evolution of drone warfare across Europe and Asia.
