Germany’s Mehler Protection has introduced SCILT, a vehicle-integrated counter-drone system built to defeat close-range unmanned threats. Designed to counter FPV drones, loitering munitions, and kamikaze systems, the platform embeds sensors, fire-control logic, and effector modules directly into armored vehicles. It can fire multiple ammunition types, including shotgun rounds and armor-piercing projectiles, providing flexible response options. The system reflects growing demand for mobile, layered defenses against rapidly evolving battlefield drone threats.
