Sweden has expanded its armored vehicle fleet with an order for 94 Patria 6×6 vehicles worth about 1.5 billion SEK. Added to the 321 vehicles ordered in 2024, Sweden’s total will reach 415 units by 2030. Delivered under the CAVS program, the platforms will cover multiple roles, including transport, command, and medevac missions. The CAVS initiative, which now includes seven European nations, seeks to unify armored vehicle procurement and strengthen supply security. The Patria 6×6’s versatile modular structure makes it suitable for a wide range of military applications and evolving mission needs.
