As part of the army’s Synergy of Contact Reinforced by Versatility and Infovalorisation (SCORPION) program, France has purchased 530 Serval 4×4 Lightweight Multirole Armored Vehicles. The deal, which French Armed Forces Minister Sébastien Lecornu made public, will see the systems delivered between 2025 and 2031. Additionally, the agreement calls for the purchase of 97 additional cars, contingent upon the army’s needs. The transaction could be worth more than a billion euros (about $1.03 billion) if all of the options are used.
