The Netherlands Ministry of Defence is evaluating a multi-billion-dollar program that could see Van Halteren Technologies selected to produce approximately 400 armored combat support vehicles for the Royal Netherlands Army. The fleet will perform logistics, transport, recovery, and maintenance missions while potentially incorporating anti-drone and short-range air defense variants. Deliveries are projected between 2029 and 2031. The initiative supports national efforts to strengthen domestic defense manufacturing while meeting NATO spending commitments. Van Halteren already contributes components to several Dutch combat platforms, positioning the company as a strong candidate for the program.
