The Polish Ministry of Defense has agreed to provide the army with 80 upgraded versions of the KTO Rosomak armored personnel carrier. The 4.3 billion Polish z?oty ($1 billion) contract calls for the tactical vehicle to have a larger chassis dimension, an amphibious capability, a modern engine, a Spike anti-tank guided missile launcher, and a ZSSW-30 remote-controlled turret. The fleet’s manufacturing will be supported by state-owned firms Rosomak and Huta Stalowa Wola, in collaboration with the WB Group, a private defense contractor. Warsaw anticipates that the platforms will be delivered between 2027 and 2028.
