To integrate artificial intelligence (AI) technologies into military land vehicles, Daimler Truck and ARX Robotics have established a strategic partnership. Utilizing ARX Robotics’ Mithra OS operating system, the collaboration will concentrate on incorporating robotics and AI into Daimler Truck’s Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks, such as the Unimog and Zetros models. After integration, the two businesses will carry out a testing campaign to improve networking, teleoperation, and autonomous capabilities. According to ARX Robotics, land forces must embrace software-defined capabilities in order to “be an efficient part of the NATO armed forces.”
