Daimler Truck and ARX Robotics have formed a strategic alliance to incorporate artificial intelligence (AI) technology into military land vehicles. The partnership will concentrate on integrating robotics and AI into Daimler Truck’s Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks, such as the Unimog and Zetros models, utilizing ARX Robotics’ Mithra OS operating system. After integration, the two businesses will run a testing campaign to improve networking, teleoperation, and autonomous capabilities.
