BAE Systems introduced a new model of its Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV), now fitted with the KONGSBERG Medium Caliber Turret (MCT). The tracked armored vehicle, which succeeded the long-serving M113 Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) in the U.S. Army, showcases modernization efforts addressing the changing demands of modern combat. This new model is armed with a 30mm automatic cannon, offering improved firepower and operational flexibility for the U.S. Army.
