Bell Boeing’s Joint Program Office has been granted a contract by the US Department of Defense to supply CMV-22B Osprey tiltrotor aircraft for the navy. The $590 million contract calls for the production and delivery of five systems for the service, with the majority of the work being done in Fort Worth, Texas. With the Naval Air Systems Command in Patuxent River, Maryland, this project will be coordinated, and it is anticipated that it will be finished by January 2028.
