Boeing has secured a $2.73-billion contract from the US government to provide long-term post-production support for the Apache attack helicopter fleet through 2030. The agreement covers sustainment, maintenance, technical assistance, spare parts supply, and systems upgrades, ensuring the US Army’s Apache force remains mission-ready. The Apache continues to serve as a core element of US Army combat aviation, supporting close air support, armed reconnaissance, and anti-armor missions. Recent modernization efforts include the AH-64E Guardian upgrade, which introduced improved avionics, communications, sensors, and digital architecture. Additional contracts have expanded mission equipment packages and training support, reinforcing the helicopter’s relevance in high-intensity and multi-domain operations.
