Bell Textron Inc., a subsidiary of Textron Inc., announced at the 2025 Paris Air Show that it has signed a purchase agreement with the Tunisian Air Force for 12 SUBARU Bell 412EPX helicopters. This marks the first regional order for this Bell 412 variant. The helicopters will support a variety of military and security missions. With this addition, Tunisia expands its rotary-wing fleet, which already includes 39 Bell aircraft, such as the Bell UH-1s, 205s, and OH-58s.

Renowned worldwide for its versatility and reliability, the Bell 412 is frequently deployed in military and parapublic operations, accounting for over 54% of the global fleet’s missions. Recent Bell 412 deliveries include those to the Japan Coast Guard, San Diego Fire and Rescue, and the interior ministries of Croatia and Sarajevo Canton.

The SUBARU Bell 412EPX offers impressive performance, with a maximum internal weight of 12,200 lbs, external weight of 13,000 lbs, a 5,000 lb cargo hook capacity, and a useful load of 5,385 lbs, making it ideal for demanding missions.
