The UK Ministry of Defense announced that it will provide the Ukrainian Armed Forces with five more Raven air defense systems. As part of London’s “Kindred” initiative to promote Ukraine’s national security through “stockpiles and rapid procurement” in the face of ongoing Russian aggression, the project will raise the number of Kyiv’s Ravens to 13. In 2023, in addition to nearly 150 surface-to-air missiles, the United Kingdom also provided Ukraine with the first ground-based capabilities.
