An international client has awarded Elbit Systems a contract valued at roughly $277 million for UT30 MK2 remote turret systems and supporting munitions, with implementation set over a three-year timeline.

The award follows recent European selections of the turret, including its integration into ASCOD armored vehicles for a NATO member and Romania’s adoption for Piranha V carriers.

The UT30 MK2 is a configurable turret designed to strengthen armored vehicle firepower while maintaining crew survivability. It mounts a 30mm Mk44 Bushmaster II autocannon, a 7.62mm coaxial machine gun, and anti-tank guided missiles. Featuring independent commander and gunner sights and STANAG 4569 Level 4 protection, the system offers both operational flexibility and enhanced battlefield resilience.
