Sweden has bought Embraer C-390 Millennium transport planes for its air force. The agreement, which was announced at a defense and aerospace event in Brazil, calls for the delivery of four airframes for the purpose of facilitating the quick movement of soldiers and equipment in both domestic and foreign operations. The fleet’s last assembly will take place at Embraer’s facility in São Paulo, with deliveries planned to commence once the company and Stockholm have completed the final negotiations.
