The Brazilian manufacturer said that the purchase makes the military user the sixth Super Tucano operator in the African region. The deal calls for Embraer to provide four A-29 Super Tucano light attack and trainer planes for an African client. The aircraft will be used for a wide range of operations, including counterinsurgency, close air support, advanced flight training, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance throughout the nation.
